What Icon is
Icon was founded in March 2006 on Stormrage EU by a group of individuals
that shared the same notion about balance; a balance between quality time raiding and commitments in real life. We believe in gracefulness, mindfulness and each individuals potentiality. With our beliefs comes responsibility; we expect our members to be respectful, focused and to contribute on diverse levels. If you find yourself liking the idea of our beliefs, you're welcome to fill in and post an application that you find here.

What Icon expect from ALL members
Treat yourself and others with respect. This includes:
• Using a mature tone in guild chat. Therefore we require all our members to be 18+.
• Discuss matters in a constructive way on the forum
• Act as an ambassador of Icons beliefs in public channels, on public forums and in any other contact with other players

What Icon expect from our Raiders
• Sign in/out of all planned raids on forum
• To participate in at least two planned raids a week
• To be active on the forums
• To stay for the whole duration of the raid
• To be focused when it's needed
• To be willing to adapt to new tactics and situations
• To always come prepared, both tactic wise and with consumables
• To follow instructions made by the raid leader
• To use Ventrilo for constructive communication
• To keep your gear suitably updated with enchants and gems
• To ask if you are unsure about something; class channels are a resource
• To have the required addons installed.

Raidtimes
We raid three days per week: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 20:00-00:00.
Very seldom, if ever, do we push it into overtime.

What Icons item-distribution looks like
Icon uses a council system when distributing items dropped in our 25-man raids. The Council consists of Icons officers and class leaders which distribute items based on the following factors:
• Dedication
• Time since last item received
• Scale of upgrade
• Team- and progression-perspective

Required addons
The following addons have to be installed by all members wishing to raid:
• Ventrilo
• CTRaidAssist + Bossmods or equivalent oRA2 and BigWigs
• Omen (Omen Threat Meter, to monitor raid aggro levels)

Please update the addons after each patch, or ideally more often.
People without the above addons will not be invited to raids.
